Beverly L. Walden, age 61, of Thomasville Ga, and formerly of Elwood passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, Georgia following an extended illness. She was born on May 10, 1957 in Elwood, to the late Robert and Dolores (Beeman) Shannon. She married John Walden in 1976 and they shared nearly 42 years together. She loved to crochet ,loved playing Super Mario Brothers, playing dice and enjoyed to talking to anyone and everyone. She was a momma to all of the neighborhood kids. Beverly is survived by her husband, John Walden of Elwood, Indiana; son, James Walden, 2 daughters, Nikki Huff, Sheree Walden of Thomasville, GA, 8 grandchildren, 2 sisters, Diana Miller, Linda Lane, brother, Danny Shannon, and several nieces and nephews. Beverly was preceded in death by her father, Robert Shannon, mother, Dolores Shannon, son, John Walden, Jr. and 6 siblings, Shirley Shannon, Barbara Frazier, Bobby Shannon, Cliff Shannon, Mary Frances Shannon, and John Michael Shannon. Visitation will be from 12pm to 3pm on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Dunnichay Funeral Home 1113 South Anderson Street Elwood, IN 46036. No formal funeral service will be held.
