Gloria Jean Nixon age 65 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 2:27am at Hillcrest Hospital due to organ failure. Gloria was born January 13th, 1953 in Los Angeles, California to Marjorie Austin and Coy Moody. She was the second oldest child out of eight, which included one big brother David, four little brothers Gary, Charles, Michael and Robert who is deceased. The also had two little sisters Debra who is still with us and Barbra who is deceased as well. Gloria married Jackson Nixon on April 20, 1969 in California. They had two children together, Jackson and Deann. Gloria moved to Tulsa in 1986 and has been here ever since. She went to nursing school and loved it. Gloria is the sweetest, most kind, giving, loving person you could ever meet. She would help anyone in need. She was a very hard working woman who loved her family and friends very much. If she was not working she loved to go out and dance, or go shopping. She had a huge love for purses and perfumes. She had only one dying wish and that was for her youngest granddaughter Araseli to make sure she graduates and not to give up. Gloria is survived by one big brother, David, three little brothers, Gary, Charles and Michael and one sister Debra. Her children, son Jackson (born first) and daughter Deann, grandchildren, Shannon, Erica, Jaime, Jose, Araseli and Zachary, great-grandchildren , Nayeli, Bryson, Ayden, Addison and Ayla. She was preceded in death by her parents Marjorie Austin and Coy Moody, one brother Robert and one sister Barbra.
