Alyce A. Urbine, 97, a former Sylvania Township resident, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018, at the Swan Creek Retirement Village. She was born in Toledo January 14, 1921, to parents Ray and Freda (Keppler) Weaver, and they preceded her in death. Alyce was employed in the Account Services Division of the Sylvania Savings Bank for many years. She was a Graduate of DeVilbiss High School. She was a long and active member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Sylvania, where she served on the Ladies Altar Society and assisted with Funeral Luncheons. Alyce was also an avid Bridge Player. She is survived by her son Michael Urbine; sister Janet Garwood; and brother William Weaver. Alyce was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, husband Carl Urbine; and close special friend Richard Federspiel. Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Friday June 15th from 4 – 8 PM. The Funeral Mass will be conducted at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Saturday the 16th at 10 AM where her body will lie in state one-hour prior. Those wishing to offer memorials in Alyce’s memory are asked to consider the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Sylvania. Alyce was a devoted wife and mother, she will be missed!
