Obituary for Nancy Lee Lemke Oh Dear Lord you have your hands full with this one! Nancy Lee Lemke passed away from cancer at her home on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at the ripe old age of 71. Just like her canning and cooking when the timer goes off it was done. The farm lady with the RED BANDANA on her head she would become. Nancy was born on July 31, 1946 in Neenah to Vernon and Dorothy Gustman. She lived her early life on Breezewood Lane and was raised by her mom and stepfather Arnold (Arnie) Armstrong. Then meeting Verlyn Lemke, the man with a farm, the one thing she loved the most. She later moved to the place she would call her home for the rest of her life, the farm on County Line near Omro. Here she worked jobs off of the farm including, Cookie Factory, Bemis, Wilson Hurd, Pioneer Hotel, Berlin Foundry, Miles Kimball, Berlin Family on Main, Super Value, Second Time Around, and at the school as the popcorn Lady for the PTO. At the many places she worked over the years, meeting people who loved her so dear, then leaving a little BS in your ear before she left. During this time Nancy worked the family farm and brought into this world three strong minded hard working children who survive her. Leon (Patricia) Lemke, Vanda (Jeff Toll) Lemke, Nick (Amanda) Lemke. She is further survived by grandchildren, Mike (Friend Brittan Goodl) Lemke, Jacob Burroughs, Hannah Lemke, Donavin Lemke, Luke (Morgan) Schmidtke, Troy (Sarah) Schmidtke, Paul (Cheyenne) Schmidtke, Natalie Lemke, Kinze Lemke; great grandchildren, Macy and Lei Lemke, Letty, Case, Rhyett, Dashian, Finnely and one on the way Schmidtke; sisters, Rose (Dale) Brazil, Betty Brazil, Bernie (Paul) Meyer and families; and her BFF Karen Vergin Krause. She was preceded in death by her parents, ex-husband, Verlyn Lemke; sister, Katie Wilcox; brother in law, Wayne Brazil. A Memorial has been established in her memory.
