Obituary for Irene R. Robers (Peyer) Irene R. Robers, age 98 of Lake Geneva, WI passed to eternal life at the Atrium Post-Acute Care Center in Williams Bay, WI on Saturday, May 12, 2018. Irene was born November 20, 1919 in Geneva Township, WI the daughter of the late Herman Sr. and Maybelle M. (Waldman) Peyer. She married Ernest Robers on May 17, 1941 in Lyons, WI, who preceded her in death on October 25, 1981. Surviving are her children Carla (Lee) Ried of Medford, WI, David, William, and Richard Robers of Lake Geneva, WI and Marvin Robers of Sublette, IL. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren as well as her sister Ida Potter. Irene is preceded in death by her husband, parents, son Steven Robers, brothers Herman, Walter, Lee, and James Peyer, and brother-in-law Warren Potter. A visitation Will be held Friday, May 18, 2018 at the Steinke-Lazarczyk Funeral Home (515 Center Street, Lake Geneva) from 4 to 6:30 p.m. with a service at 6:30 p.m. with Fr. Sergio Lizama of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church officiating. Burial will take place Monday, May 21, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Geneva, WI.
