EDGERTON—Corwin “Jim” J. Iverson, age 64, of Edgerton, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, with his family by his side. He was born in Platteville on June 14, 1953, the son of Martin and Joan (Bishop) Iverson. He was employed by General Motors and also did Taxidermy out of his home and enjoyed retirement for many years. He was a member of the Edgerton Conservation Club and the Rock River Thresheree. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 yrs, Ginger; loving son, Darrin (Kristin) Iverson; 8 siblings: Nicki (Greg) Johnson, Barb (Mark) Cornford, Gary Iverson, Bill Iverson, Pat Iverson, John Iverson, Shawn Iverson and Jeff Iverson; numerous nieces and nephews; brothers/sister-in-laws: Joan Robinson, Karla Simpson, Dave (Sherri) Simpson and Mike Sather; and Hailey his faithful dog. He was preceded in death by an infant child; parents; siblings: Joan Sather, Thomas Iverson and Marcy Doerr; brother-in-law, Randy Simpson; and a great niece, Kaidynn. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2018, at APFEL EHLERT FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 315 Lord St. (Hwy 51) Edgerton with Fr. Dave Timmerman officiating. Burial will be at Fassett Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
