Lonnie C. Tingvall, 61 of Buckley passed away Thursday, May 10th after a short illness. He was born May 29, 1956 in Seattle to the late Horace G. and Sharlee Ann Spokely Tingvall. Lonnie was a truck driver by profession having worked for several companies most recently for Northern Sales Company Inc. in Sumner. He loved camping with his family, family gatherings, the Seahawks, dirt bike riding, ocean crab fishing, was active in various sports and even piloted his own plane. Most of all Lonnie was there for his family. He wanted everyone to be happy and did what he could to make that happen. He always put his children first. Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents and his best friend Sam. Survivors include his beloved children Nick Tingvall of Cle Elum, WA and Amanda (Jesse) Ahrendsen of Roslyn, WA; siblings Janet (Rick) Milbrath of Mineral, WA, Jeff (Dawn) Tingvall of Ravensdale, WA, Mike (Herman) Tingvall of California and Janine (Mike) LaBay of Washington; Grandchildren Wade, Hannah and Joy Ahrendsen as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Lonnie’s life Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Weeks Funeral Home, 451 Cemetery Road, Buckley, WA. A reception will follow the celebration in the reception room of the funeral home.
