Obituary for Jerome Regis Daily Jerome Regis Daily, 75, of Stephens City, VA, passed away May 12, 2018 at Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center. He was born December 1, 1942 in McKeesport, PA, the son of the late Charles Jerome and Wilgra Wishard Daily. Jerome served his country through the Army Reserves from 1964 – 1970. He worked for Southland Corporation for thirty five years and worked for Winchester City Police as a dispatcher for nine years. He was very involved with the Girl Scouts and the Winchester Bambino and Babe Ruth Leagues. He was a member of the American Legion Post 21 and a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Jerome married Sandra Cloonan Daily January 2, 1965 in Baltimore, MD. Along with his wife he is survived by his sons, Lance Daily (Kelly) of Forest Grove, OR and Sean Daily (Claudia) of Hopewell, VA; daughters, Valentina Capps of Stephens City, Erin Malloy (Jason) of Stephens City and Kelly Gielstra (Simon) of West Palm Beach, FL; thirty three grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother, Francis Daily. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Jones Funeral Home from 7-9 with a Rosary Service at 7:30. A Funeral Mass will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church May 17, 2018 with The Rev. Bjorn C. Lundeburg officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Stephens City, VA.
