Obituary for Betty Lou Webber (Carpenter) Betty Lou Webber, 89, of Winchester, VA, went home Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Green Valley Commons Assisted Living facility in Winchester. She was born February 8, 1929 in Winchester; the daughter of the late Ruby Hottle and Virginia Davis Carpenter. She married Blandon Blair Webber, the love of her life, February 14, 1948 in Hagerstown, MD. Betty graduated with the class of 1947 from Stonewall High School. She worked at Town and Country Department Store and she and her sister-in-law owned and operated The Stork Set in downtown Winchester. Along with her husband Blair of seventy years, she is survived by her daughter, Diane Keeler and her husband Ronald of Winchester; her grandson, Ronald Blair Keeler; two great grandchildren, Alexa Rae Keeler and Rachel Blair Keeler; her sister Kay Bailey and her husband Earnest of Stephenson, VA and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother Lynn Carpenter. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the employees of Green Valley Commons and Blue Ridge Hospice for their loving care and support. Funeral services will be at a later date.
