Marilyn J Gowans 1946 – 2018 Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, finished a life of love and service to family and friends, free of pain. She joined her mother, grandson and other loved ones. Her greatest joy was her family and friends. The more they were around, the happier she was, when she was not in Wendover. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Keith Gowans, who were married in the temple in 1991, daughters, Jodee and Mike Lester, Dixie and Dan Patterson and son Scott and Emily Gowans. 9 grandchildren (Michael, Russel!, Jeremy, Emily, Andrew, Nikki, Grayson, Danielle and Josey),and 7 great-grandchildren (Marcus, Tripton, ember Lee, Xavian, Adrian, Jackson, Kylar), sisters Arlene Herrera (Dave) and LaVon Chaffinch, nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 16, at 1 PM in the Tooele City Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 11-12:30 AM at the Dalton-Hoopes Funeral Home, 50 W. Main, Grantsville.
