Obituary for Roy George Jr. Obituary Roy Joe George Jr. 64 of Dallas passed away Tuesday May 29, 2018 at Charlton Methodist Hospital. Funeral Services will be held Saturday June 2, 2018 at 12:00pm at Sacred Funeral Home Chapel located at 1395 US-67 Cedar Hill TX, Visitation will be held Friday June 1, 2018 from 1-7pm at the Funeral Home. Roy Joe George Jr. was born December 8, 1953 in Texarkana Arkansas to Roy Joe George Sr. and Everleaner George. Roy received his primary education there in Texarkana TX. After graduation high school Roy started a career in Construction and worked his way up to Superintendent. Roy moved to Dallas and met and Married Brenda Allen-George. He loved to Fish, Play Dominoes and play the Slot Machines. Roy accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of the Set Free Bible Church. Roy was preceded in death by Mother Everleaner George and father Roy Joe George Sr. Left to cherish her memories are Wife Brenda George of Dallas TX, son Joshua George and wife Renea of Dallas, daughter Kamitia Hill of Dallas step daughter Brandi Carter and husband Rev. Christ Carter, Step Son Brandon Patterson and wife Kyla of Lake Worth TX. Sisters Shirley Hamilton of Texarkana TX, Carolener Duckett and husband Agustus of Texerkana AR, Rose Williwams and husband Larry of Texerkana AR, Leonia Strong of Dallas TX. Brothers; Edward Oakes of Glendale MD, Rev. Morris George and spouse Loralie of Houston TX, Henry George Sr. and wife Brenda of Texarkana TX, Walter George and wife Vanessa of Texarkana TX. God son R.J. Moore,10 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
