Obituary for Robert Plunk Robert Plunk, age 74, passed away on Monday, May 21st, 2018 in Mineola, Texas. He was born on January 25th, 1944 in Dallas, Texas to the late Allen and Mary Nell Plunk. He worked as an Auto Body Repairman and was a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. Robert was preceded in death by his first wife, Wanda Plunk; second wife, Beverly Jean Plunk; parents, Allen and Mary Nell Plunk; brothers, Aurthur Plunk and Oliver Leon Plunk; and granddaughter, Tara F. Plunk. He is survived by daughter, April Denise Hooten of Rowlett; sons, Larry Don Plunk (Samone) of Tyler and Mark Alan Plunk (Sondra) of Rowlett; grandchildren, Latrice Plunk of Columbia, SC, Shanda Girsch of Whitney, Chelsea Hooten of Whitney, Taylor Hooten of Mineola, Maegan Plunk of Rowlett, and Madison Plunk of Rowlett, Sterling Plunk of Columbia, SC, John Carlos Plunk of Houston, Dallas Plunk of Tyler, and Chris Plunk of Rowlett; and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters, Madelon Followwell and JoNell Harley; brother, Phillip Plunk; sister-in-law, June Plunk; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2018 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home, 5396 S. State Hwy. 37 Mineola, TX 75773. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 24th, 2018 at Sand Springs Baptist Church 3208 CR 2330 Mineola, Texas 75773 at 2:00 pm with Bro. Robert Brown conducting.
