Obituary for Nelson “Mac” Machorek Nelson Frank “Mac” Machorek, age 77, of Killeen died Monday, May 21, 2018 in a local hospital. He was born on March 12, 1941 in Union New Jersey. Nelson married Pong Song on May 8, 1981 in Seoul, Korea. He proudly served in the United States Army for over 20 years. He was a graduate of Union High School and earned an associate’s degree from Central Texas College. He lived in Killeen for the past 33 years. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Jeanette. Nelson will be greatly missed by his wife Pong Machorek, his son Scott Machorek and wife Catherine, and 2 grandsons all of Killeen.
