He has numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends, and his Boxing family. Born in Bryan but he was raised in Austin and Conroe in his senior at High School. At the ripe young age of 8, Isaac started a hobby of boxing. This hobby soon became a passion and he stuck with his passion for boxing continued to grow, so did his plans, and he had a plan to try and make it into the 2020 Olympics. As a member of the USA Organization of boxing, Isaac was true to his heart fighting over 100 fights to try and reach his dream of the Olympics. Isaac worked as a personal trainer and instructor at Title Boxing teaching his passion to others. He was a funny, humble, intellectual and kind young man who not only loved boxing but the family he had as well. Isaac looked forward to family get togethers and hanging out with his siblings. Always joking around with each other and hanging out, his siblings were as much his friends as family, and he was the glue that held them together. We thank God for the time we had with him, as we know time is not promised to anyone. We held out hope for a miracle and in the end, he was a donor and saved several lives. We are so blessed knowing that he lives through others in this world. Isaac will be missed by so many whether it be a reason, season, or a lifetime, but in meeting these people he has left a piece of himself behind. Isaac Martinez was a fun loving, sweet, funny and humble 18-year-old child. On May 16, 2018, Isaacs family was gathered around to say their final goodbyes to the boy they so lovingly called Big Ice. Family and Friends are here today to say farewell to our sweet boy Isaac. This is the hardest thing we have ever had to do and words cannot describe the sorrow and loss that those close to Isaac are feeling. Throughout his years Isaac was the second to the oldest out of 8 children. He was adored by his Olympics. He had a heart bigger than anyone could imagine inside the ring and out. Isaac has done countless things for those around him and touched so many hearts. Isaac was by far one of the most talented and gifted boxers that his coaches had encountered. The way he made things look inside that ring at times was plain amazing. You Isaac, will be missed by countless others. To have lost Isaac is heart breaking it has come as such a shock to us all. His life was far too brief. I know in my heart that he would not want us to grieve too long. Rather, Isaac would want us all to remember the good times we shared with him. He will live on in our hearts forever. We all prayed for a miracle to happen for us. The miracle that we are blessed with is knowing that he gave his life to complete strangers will live on through them.
