Cecil “Dale” Radican of Garland, Texas, passed away on May 19, 2018 at the age of 72. He was born on August 18, 1945 to Rayburn Arnett Radican and Hazel Corrine (Crofford) Radican. Dale married Linda June Jackson on December 8, 1964 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He worked 20 years as a plumber for Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union #100, and 20 plus years at Richardson ISD as an Aquatic Engineer. Dale loved to hunt, fish, ski, and collect coins. He enjoyed listening to “oldies” such as Patsy Cline and Buddy Holly. He was an amazing swing dancer and taught his daughter Teresa how to swing dance when she was a tiny girl. Dale had a passion for life, a love for his family, and never met a stranger, he would give anyone the shirt off of his back if he thought they needed it. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda Radican; daughter, Teresa Cowart and fiancé Lee Roeske of Garland, Texas; grandchildren, Corey Cowart and wife Jennifer of Arlington, Texas and Joshua Dale Cowart and Emma Pointer of Arlington, Texas ; great grandchildren, Lathan Kade and Wren Helena Cowart; six cousins; six nieces and nephews; his mother, Connie Radican; sister, Marie Lowry of Pilot Point, Texas; brother, James Radican and wife Gayle of Denison, Texas; brother, Michael Radican and wife Annette of Bells, Texas; his beloved Aunt Gracie Payne of Garland, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Rayburn Radican; sister, Kathy Felmet; grandparents, David and Maggie Graham; uncles, Preston and wife Susie Crofford, and Alvin Payne. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Mullican Little Funeral Home in Bells, Texas. Interment will follow immediately at Rose Hill Cemetery in Bells, Texas. The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday at 12:00 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Corey Cowart, Joshua Cowart, Lee Roeske, James Radican, Taylor Radican, and Michael Radican.
