Obituary for Billy Howard “Bill” Richards Sr. Billy “Bill” Howard Richards Sr, age 87, of Morgans Point died Friday, April 27, 2018 at his residence. He was born on November 29, 1930 in Rockdale to Howard and Ruth (York) Richards. Bill graduated from Thorndale High School. He proudly served in the United States Navy. He has lived in Morgans Point for 27 years. He is preceded in death by his parents Howard and Ruth, his first wife Norma Morris Richards, his brothers John, James, Irvin and Clyde and his sister Dorothy Allison. Bill will be greatly missed by his wife Gladys Jones, his two daughters Kay Richards and husband Al Varela and Donna Downs, his two sons Billy Richards Jr and wife Sharon and Bruce Richards. He also leaves behind his stepchildren Danna Hysmith and husband Larry, Tanna Krenek and husband Mike, Duncan Wolf and wife Donna and Lanna Chapman, his 12 grandchildren, and hiss 5 great-grandchildren. Private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make donations in honor of Bill to any Alzheimer’s Association.
