Gerald Lawrence Mooneyham June 14 1932 May 20 2018 (age 85)

Mr. Gerald Lawrence Mooneyham, 85 of Covington, passed away on the morning of May 20, 2018. Mr. Mooneyham, the widower of Mrs. Sarah Mooneyham, was retired from the Untied States Air Force and from Paslode where he worked as a Machinist, and he was a member of the New Life Church. Mr. Mooneyham is survived by his sons, Johnny (Linda) Mooneyham of Brighton, Jerry (Mercy) Mooneyham of San Antonio, TX, and Jason (Tandy) Mooneyham of Washington State; his daughters, Jeanette (Johnny) McCommon of Burlison, Judy (Dan) Free of Arlington, and JoAnn (David) Smith of Humboldt, Iowa; his brother, William (Betty) Mooneyham of Brighton; eighteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Mr. Mooneyham was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Vera Thomas Mooneyham; his infant sons; his brothers, Langston and Floyd Mooneyham; and his sisters, Virginia Grey, Beatrice Griffith, Ida Smith, Margarite Pinner, and Eunice Mooneyham. The services for Mr. Mooneyham will be held on Wednesday, May 23, at 11 AM in the Maley-Yarbrough Chapel. Visitation will take place Tuesday night from 5-7. Interment will follow in Covington Memorial Gardens with Rev. Norris Ward and Rev. Donald VonBuskirk, Jr. officiating.
