Obituary for Bruce McClain Bruce Edward McClain, age 75 of Erin, TN, died on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Houston County Community Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Bruce was born on February 11, 1943 to Edgar Roe and Dorothy Jackson McClain of Stewart, TN. In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his sister, Evalyn Quick of Michigan; brother, Luke McClain of Stewart, TN, and niece, Sherry Elliott of TN Ridge, TN. Bruce was a truck driver, carpenter, and worked at TVA. Bruce leaves behind his loving wife, Peggie McClain and three children through love; daughter, Teresa Dennis-Cox of Erin, TN, and sons, George Dennis Jr and Jay Seay both of Stewart, TN. Bruce also leaves behind a sister, Judy Roswell of TN Ridge, TN. Bruce leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, as well as many family members and friends. A celebration of his life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Rev Denise Settle and Bro. Garrett Milliken officiating. Burial will follow in Beecham Cemetery. The McClain family will receive friends on Friday from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday afternoon. Serving as pallbearers will be Seth Dennis, Andrew Larusch, Pat Mahanoy, Ryan Rye, Sydney Cathey, and Billy Webb.
