Betty Bransford Burgett, age 75, of the Gap of the Ridge Community in Macon County, passed away Saturday afternoon, May 26, 2018 at the Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN. Funeral Services for Betty Bransford Burgett will be conducted Tuesday morning, May 29th at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Reverend Billy Freeman, Jr. and David Flynn officiating. Interment will follow in Anderson & Son Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m., Monday 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Tuesday 9 a.m. until her service at 11 a.m. Family request memorials by made to the Westside Elementary Backpack Program. You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home. She is survived by son & daughter-in-law; Terry & Tammy Burgett of Lafayette; grandsons, Nick Burgett of Lafayette, Travis Burgett and his wife, Haley of the Cross Lanes Community; great-grandson, Benton Burgett of the Cross Lanes Community; sister, Anell Meyers of Nashville; brothers & sisters-in-law, Mike & Jennifer Marshall of Lafayette, Jimmy & Greta Marshall of Portland; devoted friend, Harold Cothron of Hartsville.
