Obituary for Anna Mahan BAXTER – Funeral services for Anna Sue Mahan, 76 of Baxter, will be Sunday, May 27 at 2 PM from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mahan Family Cemetery. Mrs. Mahan died Friday, May 25, 2018 at Signature Healthcare-Putnam County in Algood. She was born February 27, 1942 in Jackson County to the late Leo and Betty Hamlet Martin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters: Mattie Palk, Ruthie Mahan, Barbara Flatt and Shirley Gateley, brothers Garrett, Bobby and Donnie Martin, grandsons: Bobby and Joe Lynn Mahan. She was of the Freewill Baptist faith. She enjoyed taking care of her flowers and spending time with family, especially the grandchildren. Survivors include daughters Melaney Mabery of Carthage, Sharon (Ronnie) Smallwood of Baxter, Kellie Robinson of Carthage and Diana (Vince) Rohrig of Cookeville, sons Henry Lee (April) Mahan, Jr. of Monterey and Garrett (Kayla) Mahan of Cookeville, sister Catherine Baisch of Lincoln Park, MI, grandchildren: Jeremiah Johnson, JoAnna Mahan, Ronnie Smallwood, Casey Robinson, Courtney Mahan, Kayla Harville, Cody Harville and Kyle Randolph, 11 great-grandchildren, special sister-in-law Kathy Martin of Jackson County. Harold Ralph Maynard will officiate. Family will receive friends Saturday from 4 to 8 PM and Sunday after 10 AM at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
