Obituary for Mary Tisdale Murrells Inlet….Mary Tisdale Mary Alice Tisdale age 80, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Thrive Assisted Living with her daughter by her side. Born in Benton, IL on June 02, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Henry R. and Lucille Webb McCann. Mrs. Tisdale was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Paul L.Tisdale and her brother, Charles Edward McCann of Benton, IL. Survivors include a son, Robert “Randy” Tisdale of Boise, Idaho; a daughter, Kathryn L. Mahar and her fiancée David Reid of Surfside Beach, SC; grandchildren, Jason Stiefel and wife Alison, Nicole and Sean Tisdale and a great granddaughter, Ella Z Stiefel. Mary worked for over 21 years at Contel/GTE in Mascoutah, IL as a Service Representative. After an early retirement Mary and Paul enjoyed traveling around the United States visiting many of our National Parks & beautiful country and were fortunate enough to have lived in several different places like Mascoutah, IL, Madisonville, KY Eagle, Idaho and Lynchburg, VA until they moved to Murrells Inlet, SC in 2013. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 4th, 2018 at 11am at Goldfinch Funeral Home Beach Chapel in Murrells Inlet. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital P.O.
