Obituary for Mary Jo Macko Mary Josephine Macko, 87, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018. She was born May 1, 1931 in Hamilton, OH to the late Harry and Bertha Morgan. She lived in Hamilton, OH; Los Angeles, CA; Albuquerque, NM and Greer, SC. She attended Bob Jones University from 1950 to 1952. Her most significant occupation was mother and homemaker, but also included work at a paper mill, three summers with Youth for Christ, 22 years insurance, 10 years teaching kindergarten and 17 years telemarketing. She was a member of Community Baptist Church in Greer, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edward Macko, sister, Doris Schaney and brothers, Fred and Doug Morgan. She is survived by her son, Tim Macko of Greer, SC; nephew Paul Schaney of Ohio; niece, Mary Kennedy of Ohio; niece, Beth Ann Meeks of Ohio and nephew Matt Morgan of Iowa. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Community Baptist Church, Greer, SC with the Rev. David Whitcomb officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, SC. Visitation will be held 1:00-2:00 p.m. Sunday at Community Baptist Church.
