Obituary for Elizabeth Campbell Elizabeth Campbell was a life-long resident of Charleston, SC. She died unexpectedly on May 19, 2018 at the age of 76. Elizabeth was born in Charleston, SC on January 4, 1942 to Estelle Richardson. She later became the stepdaughter to Mitchell Swinton when he married her mother Estelle. Elizabeth was the biological mother of 12 children and is survived by 11; predeceased by two sisters, and survived by a brother and sister who currently reside in New York. Even after winning her bout with cancer, she remained a spunky woman who loved to laugh. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a love for fried foods and soda pops. She also had good fashion sense and shopped for new clothes every chance she got. Over the course of her life, she became a deeply spiritual woman who believed that her steps were ordered by God. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Monday, June 4, 2018 at the Charleston Cremation Center and Funeral Home on 2054 Wambaw Creek Rd, Charleston, SC 29492.
