Simone V Grieco 2018

Simone V. Grieco, age 49, of Colonel John Gardner Road, Narragansett, RI died on May 9, 2018 at Eastgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a brief battle with cancer. She passed peacefully with her mother Miriam, her Aunt Marcia, and other loved ones by her side. Simone was born in Brazil, the daughter of Miriam (Viana) Grieco and the late Joao C. Grieco. Simone’s boundless enthusiasm for life, and the warmth and love she shared with so many, will be greatly missed. Her radiant smile will be forever in our hearts. In addition to her mother and aunt, she is survived by her boyfriend Florin Mihut and many aunts, uncles, cousins and Godchildren. On behalf of Simone and her family, we would like to thank the teams at Eastgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Home Health Hospice for the care and compassion shown throughout her journey. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, May 15th, at 10:00 at St. Francis Xavier Church, 81 North Carpenter Street, East Providence, RI 02914. Burial will be in Brazil. Calling hours are omitted. Please feel free to wear bright clothing to honor Simone’s bright spirit.
