Obituary for Wanda Swartz (Rockemann) Wanda L. Swartz, 68, of Lewistown, passed peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family on May 28, 2018. Born November 21, 1949 in Chestertown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Louie and Barbara (Lane) Rockemann. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband William Swartz in 2004, and a son Warren Swartz. She is survived by her children, Shannon Swartz and wife Patrice, and Carol Brinson and husband Edward all of Lewistown, and William Swartz and companion Lisa of MD; siblings, Laura Croke and husband Thomas of Lansdale, Marlyn Nacannely ans Warren Rockemann all of Philadelphia, and Timothy Hickman of North Carolina; grandchildren, Courtnay, Douglas, Candie, Dylan, Jacob, Jamal, Barbara, Cameron, Brian, Willie D., Brayden, and Elijah and great-grandchildren, Auria, Dominic, Preston and Brandon. Wanda was employed at the Lewistown Hospital, and later Skills as a caregiver. A memorial service in loving memory of Wanda will be held at noon on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 210 Montgomery Avenue, Lewistown. Arrangements are under the care of The Barr Funeral Home Inc. and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Wanda’s memory are respectfully encouraged to, The American Heart Association, 1019 Mumma Road, Wormleysburg, PA 17043.
