Mountain – Sylvia June, 91, Echo, went to be with the Lord on May 14, 2018 at her residence. Born on June 6, 1926 in Echo, daughter of Albert and Ethel (Thompson) Bimeal. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred G. Mountain; siblings, Albert, Betty, and Richard Bimeal, and Patricia Hruska, and son-in-law, Gary W. Behory. She is survived by her loving daughters, Gloria J., wife of Paul G. Volk, East Taylor Township, Pamela F., wife of Rev. Robert J. Way, Clearfield, and Glenda L. Behory, Nanty Glo; grandchildren, David Volk, Joshua Way, Jason Behory, Justin (Jessica) Behory, and Kayla Behory and several nieces and nephews. Sylvia was a graduate of Franklin High School. She was a member of the Nanty Glo Church of the Brethren, where she was Deaconess for many years. Sylvia enjoyed baking, especially buns, gardening, being outdoors, and her kitty, Bentley. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2-7 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, with the Rev. Linda R. Beachley officiating. Interment will be at Headrick Union Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be directed to Nanty Glo Church of the Brethren, 915 Caroline Street, Nanty Glo, PA 15943 in memory of Sylvia.
