Obituary of Sara Young Sara “Evelyn” Young, age 92 of Boothwyn, PA died on May 6, 2018 at home. Born in Upland, PA and raised in Chester, PA, she resided for the past 20 years in Boothwyn, previously residing in Buckman Village in Chester. Evelyn worked as a secretary for the Board of Assessments for Delaware County for 10 years before retiring. She graduated from Ridley Township High School class of 1944. Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, DeWitt and Helen Haynie, husband, William C. Young who died in 1987, son in law, Richard Van Den Bosch and daughter in law, Cindy Young. She is survived by 3 children, Donna (Norris) Schier, Linda Van Den Bosch and Jerry Young, 2 sisters, Helen Baur and Ann Wilkins, 3 grandchildren, Holly Melton, Mamie Leggett and Jason (Stephanie) Young, 2 great grandchildren, Jada and Mykayla Young. A visitation will be held on Thursday 9:00-10:00AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a memorial service at 10:00AM. Interment, Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA. Donations in her memory may be made to Trainer U.M. Church, 3705 W. 9Th St., Trainer, PA 19061.
