Robert David Bobby Shaw 1949 2018

Obituary of Robert Shaw Robert (Bobby) David Shaw, age 68, of Aston, PA went home to be with the Lord on May 10, 2018 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis. Bob traveled the world serving his country with the US Coast Guard for over 10 years. He also served his community as a police officer in Marcus Hook and Aston for over 25 years before retiring from Aston Township in 2004. Bob enjoyed driving limos part time with Dave’s Limousine for 20 years. A member of the Covenant Fellowship Church, he also belonged to the American Legion Post 926 and the F.O.P. He was known as an avid Phillies and Eagles fan, and was an excellent pool player, and enjoyed golf and bowling. Bob loved cruising with the top down in the Camaro, and enjoyed family vacations. Most importantly, he loved his family, and adored his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Reginald Shaw, mother and step-father, Jesse and Joseph Strain and two brothers, Richard and Wayne Shaw. Bob is survived by his wife of 34 years, Shirley McFarland Shaw, three children, Lauren, Megan and Ryan (Amber) Shaw, 2 grandchildren, Lina and Remi Shaw and six siblings, Reginald, Leon, Kevin and Steven Shaw, Tamre Reynolds and Catherine McKinley. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, 6-8PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA and again on Thursday, 11-12 Noon followed by funeral services at 12 noon. Interment, Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
