Normand M. Gervais 65, of Vandergrift, died Saturday, May 26, 2018 in the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born February 7, 1953 in Saint Leonard Canada he is the son of the late Onesime and Yvonne Vaillancourt Gervais. A veteran of the US Air force having served during Desert Storm. Normand enjoyed watching TV, spending time with his grandchildren, collecting model cars and John Deere Tractors. Survivors include his wife of 27 years Kelley Comfort Gervais. A son Michael (Trish) Shearer. Three daughters Jennifer (Terry) Potoka., Carla (Carl) Bickel and Rebecca Gervais., Six grandchildren Julianna Potoka, Destiny Shearer, Alexa Bickel, Evan Bickel, Skyler Potoka and Andrew Bickel along with three bothers and three sisters and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by an infant brother Gille Gervais and a sister Marie Rose Gervais. Family and friends will be received Thursday from 5pm till time of service at 7pm with Pastor Thomas Holmes officiating in the Dunmire-Kerr & Rowe Funeral Home, Inc. 244 Franklin Avenue, Vandergrift. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
