Ruby Glen Byrd, age 80, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at her home in Mustang surrounded by a loving family. She was born January 31, 1938 in Munford, Tennessee to Clifton and Ruth (Ruleman) Valentine. She grew up in and around Munford and was a 1956 graduate of Humes High School. She had been a longtime resident of Mustang and a member of The Bridge Assembly of God. She loved cooking, traveling and spending time with her grandkids. She is survived by her husband of over 60 years, David of the home, three sons Chuck and wife Phyllis, Mark and wife Kathy all of Mustang and Chris and wife Louise of Albertsville, Alabama. Also by thirteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two brothers Billy Valentine and wife Pam, Jimmy Valentine and wife June all of Memphis, Tennessee. Services will be held at 10am on Friday, May 25, 2018 at The Bridge Assembly of God in Mustang with interment to follow in the Mustang Cemetery under the direction of McNeil’s Funeral Service.
