Violet Dustman 2018

Violet M. Dustman, 75, of Austintown, passed away Sunday morning, May 20, 2018, at her residence. She was born August 29, 1942 in Youngstown, a daughter of Leonard and Mae Greathouse. Violet spent her adult life as a homemaker, raising and caring for her family. She married Richard O. Dustman on October 22, 1967. They shared almost 43 years of marriage and many happy memories together until his passing July 10, 2000. Violet was a devout believer in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She enjoyed flowers and was an animal lover. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother. Her family was the cornerstone of her life and she loved them dearly. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by five children; Michael (Margaret) Dustman, of Youngstown, John Dustman, of Lowellville, Richard (Loretta) Dustman, of Stout, OH, Charyl (Fred) Lee, of Howland, and Rachel Dustman, of Girard. She also leaves behind five grandchildren; Stephen (Sara) Meade, and Matthew, Haley, Sarah, and Berlynn Dustman. Besides her husband, Violet was preceded in death by her parents, several brothers and sisters, and an infant great granddaughter, Lyric Meade. An informal memorial service celebrating Violet’s life will be held at 5 PM Thursday, May 24th, 2018, at the Country Porch Winery, 2282 Wilson Sharpsville Rd., Cortland, OH, 44410. Arrangements for Mrs. Dustman are being provided by the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, 533 North Park Ave., Warren.
