Traila E. Graffius, (nee-Fyock), 86, of Elyria passed away Friday May 18, 2018 at her home following a 18 year battle with cancer. She was born April 18, 1932 in South Fork, PA and was an area resident since 1962. Traila was an active member of the Elyria First United Methodist Church, and was an avid golfer who wintered in South Padre, TX. And The Villages, FL. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Thomas; daughters, Tracy (David) Pustay and Terri (partner, Margie) Trueland; son, Scott (Laurie) Graffius; grandchildren, Heather (Jordon) Starinieri, Jared Graffius; great- grandchild, Nolan Alexander Starinieri; sister, Corrine Greer; brothers, Ray Greer and Mike Cannoine. The family will receive friends Wednesday 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday May 24, 2018 at the Elyria First United Methodist Church 312 Third St., Elyria. The Rev. W. Kent Joy, pastor, will officiate. Private burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted. Memorial contributions can be made to the Elyria First United Methodist Church radio broadcast 312 Third St., Elyria, OH. 44035 or to Mercy New Life Hospice 3700 Kolbe Rd. Lorain, OH. 44053.
