Obituary for Kaethe Boehme Kaethe Boehme, 95, of Olmsted Township, passed away May 22, 2018. Beloved mother of Phyllis Boehme and Linda (Tom) Noel. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter; her parents Friedrich and Elisabeth (Ladi) Weinz; and her siblings. Kaethe had seen a lot in her life growing up in Europe. She survived Scarlet Fever as a young child growing up in Yugoslavia. Kaethe then made her way into Germany to receive her nursing education. During World War II she served as a nurse. She met her husband Walter in Germany and after the war they relocated to America and raised their family together. Kaethe enjoyed sewing, baking, crocheting, gardening, and making latch hook rugs. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 1PM at Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070.
