Obituary of Jack Thompson Sunrise 6-14-38 Sunset 4-7-18 Jack left this life Saturday, April 7, 2018. He was born to the late Russell and Annie Belle (Anderson) Thompson in Rittman Ohio. He is survived by his wife Kathleen (Nugent); children Daniel (Marianne), Robert (Dana) and Carolyn Thompson; grandchildren Madeline, Luke, Elizabeth, Katie and Annabelle Thompson; brother Russell (Donna) Thompson; many nieces and nephews. He was extremely proud of his children and their accomplishments. He was their biggest fan. He was a loyal friend and a member of the Teke Fraternity where he made lifelong friendships. He was generous and never met a stranger. Jack worked in the automotive and insurance businesses, living in Suburban Chicago and returned to live in his childhood home in Green. His presence is already missed. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” Matt. 5:4 The family will receive friends Thursday 5 to 7 pm (PLEASE NOTE CHANGE) at the Anthony Funeral Home Green Chapel, 4178 Massillon Road (corner of Massillon and Steese Roads in Green, entrance off Steese Rd.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday 11:00 am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Rd., Uniontown OH 44685 where the family will receive friends from 10:30 am until time of the Mass. Donations may be made to the Summit County Humane Society.
