Elmer E Brumfield Jr 2018

Elmer E. Brumfield, Jr., 66, of Bristolville, passed away Thursday afternoon, April 26, 2018, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was born September 14, 1951 in Warren, a son of Elmer E. and Juanita (Copley) Brumfield, Sr. Elmer was a steel worker for the former Republic, LTV, and WCI Steel Corp.’s for 31 years prior to retiring. He married the love of his life, the former Susan K. (Oldaker), on May 24, 1996. They shared almost 22 years of marriage and many happy memories together. She survives him. Elmer and his wife attended the Leavittsburg Church of God. He was a firearms enthusiast and enjoyed going to gun shows. His greatest joy was working on his farm and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. Besides his wife, Elmer is survived by three children; James Brumfield and Mandy Veltri, both of Leavittsburg, and Vicky Propes, of Georgia. He also leaves behind a stepson; Joseph (Marie) Lank, of Niles; a sister, Sharon (Ron) Smith, of Orwell; five grandchildren; Dallas, Cheyenne, Jaedon, Leaira, and Arianna; and two step grandchildren; Jessica, and Fred, Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Larry Brumfield, a sister, Ona Mae, and a stepdaughter, Connie Lank. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, May 4, 2018, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, 533 North Park Ave., Warren, with Pastor Shirley Frantz officiating. Friends may call 3 – 5 PM Thursday, May 3rd, at the funeral home. Elmer will be laid to rest in Meadow Brook Memorial Park, Warren.
