Donna L. Sowders, age 83, of Mount Vernon, passed away May 18, 2018 at the Country Club Retirement Campus. She was born on September 6, 1934 in Amherst, Ohio to Hersheal and Edna (Lent) Wilson. Donna is survived by one daughter Stephanie Knauer of Mount Vernon, five sons; Gary Wilson, Brian (Wendy) Sowders, Tim Sowders, Scott Sowders and Todd Sowders all of Mount Vernon; nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister, son-in-law William Knauer and grandson Aaron Whipple. The family will observe private funeral services.
