Betty J. Ring, 96 of Alliance passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018 at BelAir Care Center in Alliance. Betty was born in Knox Township, Columbiana County at her family home on December 17, 1921 the daughter of the late Mervin H. and Florence (Cobb) Christen. She was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ and belonged to the Church Women United group. Survivors include her daughter Pastor Chester (Barbara) Miller of Kensington, OH. She is also survived by three grandchildren; Phillip (Angie) Miller, Rachel Miller, Jason (Jennifer) Ring, eight great grandchildren; Jason Campbell, Alexus Campbell, Xavier Jackson, Haley Miller, Zachary Miller, Gracie Miller, Brooke Ring and Brittany Ring a sister Lois Tasker and a brother Robert (Marilyn) Christen. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Paul C. Ring in 2004, her son Randy Ring in 2017 and a grandson Jeramy Ring. A funeral service will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown funeral home in Sebring on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 6:00 PM. Friends may call at the funeral home 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit. Friends may sign the guest register and send condolences online at www.grfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home (330) 938-2526.
