Riley Wallace Sweatt, Jr., 64, of Franklinville, died Monday, May 21, 2018 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral Services, 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 24, 2018, at Pleasant Cross Christian Church, Asheboro. Officiating, Rev. Jeff Maness. Riley was a native of Richmond County, employed with Sapona Manufacturing and attended Pleasant Cross Christian Church. He was preceded in death by parents, Riley Wallace Sr. and Sadie Strickland Sweatt, brother, Charles Sweatt, Sr. Survivors: wife, Clara McPherson Sweatt, of the home, son, Thomas Sweatt, and wife Ashley, of Seagrove, sister, Tammy Matney, of Worthville, brothers, William James Sweatt, of Asheboro, Donald Sweatt, Sr. and wife, Corenia, of Liberty, Ricky Sweatt, and wife Karen, of Asheboro, Terry Sweatt, and fiancee, Connie, of Liberty, grandchild, Jeffrey Riley Sweatt, numerous nieces and nephews..
