Patricia Ann Moody 1948 2018

Obituary of Patricia Moody Kent: Patricia Ann Moody, age 69, passed away on May 8, 2018 after a long battle with colon cancer. She was born May 18, 1948 in Rochester to the late Erwin and Madelyn (DeLucia) Ebert. Patricia adopted four children in addition to her five biological children. Each of the children she adopted had Down Syndrome. When she wasn’t busy taking care of her children, she enjoyed gardening and camping with her late husband, Michael. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Michael in 2006 and daughter Melissa Moody. Patricia is survived by her children, David (Euretta) Lockwood, Brian (Wendy) Lockwood, Lorrie (John) Gursslin, Erin (Rhiannon) Moody, Megan Moody, Christopher Moody, Shaun Moody, Samantha Moody; sister, Eileen (Rodger) Hoffman; grandchildren, Allana Ramos, Kevin Lockwood, Derek Lockwood, Jessica (Geoff) Symonds, Lance (Allison) Gursslin, Dustin Lockwood, Jenna (Zach) O’Connor, Brennan Moody, Jackson Moody; great-grandchildren, Aiden Gursslin, Gavin Gursslin and soon to be grandson, Harvey O’Connor; mother-in-law, Maryanne Moody; nieces, Star Mattice and Krystle Hoffman. There are no prior calling hours. Patricia’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 12th at 9:30 am at Holy Family Parish/St. Joseph’s Church. Interment will be held in Otter Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Patricia’s name may be made to the Wilmot Cancer Center 601 Elmwood Ave. Box 704, Rochester, NY 14642.
