Obituary of Mark Wheeler Mark Steven Wheeler STOUGHTON, WI – Mark Steven Wheeler, 47, formerly of Geneva, passed away peacefully on Sun. (April 15, 2018), at the University of Wisconsin Madison Hospital from complications due to diabetes. In honoring his wishes, there will be no prior calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wed. (April 25), in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Geneva. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Contributions may be directed to American Diabetes Associations, 160 Allens Creek Rd, Bldg. 160, Rochester, NY 14618. Mark was born on Feb. 2, 1971, in Newark, NY and was the son of Barbara (Farr) Wheeler and the late Bruce M. Wheeler. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from SUNY Fredonia and a Master’s Degree from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. Mark had a thirst for knowledge and was a member of Pi Pi Alpha, Alpha National Honor Society in Public Affairs and Administration. He worked for 14 years as a Prosthetic Chief for VA Medical Centers. He is survived by his loving mother, Barbara (Farr) Wheeler of Stanley; Uncle, Peter Farr of Hall, NY; several cousins; longtime childhood dear friend, David (Sophi) their children Aurora and Gresham Guilfoose all of Oregon, WI., and many friends. Mark was predeceased by his father, Bruce M. Wheeler; grandparents Alice and Frank Farr of Geneva.
