Obituary for Dorothy Dufel Miss Dorothy Dufel, Dot, passed away at her home on May 3, 2018 following a short illness. She was born on February 28, 1934 in Perth, NY. She is survived by her sister Ruth Gavin and her brother David Dufel (Susan) and her niece. She is predeceased by her parents, her sister Winnie Goodemote and her brother James Dufel. Dorothy resided in Oneida County until she moved to Fulton County in 2006 where she resided with her Lexington family at Black Street and attended Kaleidoscope Day Program. Dorothy loved to play cards and especially liked to win. Rummy was her favorite game. She was a big fan of country western music and Lawrence Welk. She could often be found watching the Yankees play baseball, as she was a big Yankees fan. She was a member of the Broadalbin First Presbyterian Church and a member of the church choir. She had a very special relationship with her sisters and her brother as well as her Lexington family. Her humor and charm will be dearly missed by all. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Mohawk Drive, Tribes Hill. Donations may be made in Dorothy’s name to the Lexington Foundation at 465 S. Perry St., Johnstown, NY 12095. Arrangements have been entrusted to the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 E.
