Obituary for Ada Ferrari (Leonardi) Ferrari, Ada M. (Leonardi) Gates: One of God’s most precious and faithful servants went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 26, 2018, in her 87th year. Predeceased by her father and mother, Carlo and Marietta Leonardi; sister, Norma Santucci; brother, Vincent Leonardi; infant granddaughter, Christina Marie Campoli. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Frank Ferrari; daughters, Anna Marie (Bruce) Riker, Frances Ada (Rick) Campoli, Dr. Rita (Ray) D’Aoust; grandchildren, Erica Riker, Rick Jr. (Heidi) Campoli, Christina Teresa (Jeffrey) Wallace, Maria (John) Tripplaar, Esq., Dr. Laura D’Aoust (fiancé, Andrew Brown), Dr. Diana (Matthew) Butlin; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Gina Iezzi; sisters-in-law, Jeanne Leonardi, Phyllis Everett; many nieces and nephews; dear friend, Sister Cathy Pfleger. Mrs. Ferrari was a Member of the Third Order Carmelite, a religious coordinator at the Italian American Community Center, and a lector and eucharistic minister at St. Theodore’s Church. Friends may call THURSDAY from 4-8PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Friday, June 1, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 9:30AM in St. Theodore’s Church.
