Obituary for Ruth A. Fengler Ruth Fengler, 92, of South Plainfield, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2018 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born and raised in Silesia, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Hermann and Gertrude Kutzner. She came to the United States in 1956 with her husband Joachim and their two sons and resided in Newark, New Jersey before settling in South Plainfield in 1962. Ruth was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who most enjoyed spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joachim Fengler, who passed away in 2015. Surviving are her loving children, Peter Fengler and his wife Patricia; Wolfgang Fengler and his wife Adelheid; her grandson Eric Fengler and his wife Kristen Pieper, and their son Paxson; her granddaughter Susan Fengler and her husband Jens Hirschberg; and her granddaughter Elise Fengler. A memorial visitation and service will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12 PM at the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield. Committal will be private.
