Obituary for Mr. Martin Howard Chodroff Monroe, NJ Martin Howard Chodroff, 81, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2018 at the Medical Center at Princeton in Plainsboro, NJ. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, moving to East Brunswick, NJ in 1973. Martin has lived the last three years in Monroe Township, NJ. Martin was a graduate of New York University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. He worked for many years as a Sales Representative with American Tourister Luggage. He owned and operated his own sales rep company, M & M Jester, and was named “Sales Person of the Year” many times by companies he represented. He retired in 2008. Martin was an avid paddle ball enthusiast. He was a member of the Minyan at the Federation in East Brunswick for many years. Martin and his wife Maxine were founding members of B’nai Shalom Temple in East Brunswick. He was a member at Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple, New Brunswick, NJ. Predeceased by his parents Philip and Helen (Reiner) Chodroff, Martin is survived by his wife Maxine (Savedoff) Chodroff, his sons Michael and Philip Chodroff, his daughter and son-in-law Brenda and Evan Turtz, his grandchildren Hailey and Spencer Turtz and his brother Robert. Funeral Services will be held at the Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple, 222 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus, NJ. Shiva will be sat at the Chodroff residence on Thursday, following the interment service with a service at 7:30 pm, Friday, June 1 from 12-4 pm, Saturday, June 2, from 7-9 pm with a service at 7:30 pm and Sunday, June 3 from 12-4 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity of choice in Martin’s memory. Arrangements are under the direction of the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ.
