Obituary of Linda Hughes-Hutchinson Linda M. Hughes, age 63, of New Egypt, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at home. She was born in Bayonne NJ and spent most of her life in Staten Island NY before moving to New Egypt 25 years ago. She worked as a nurse, most recently for Genesis Healthcare. Linda and her husband also owned and operated Evergreen Christmas Tree Farm and Christmas Shop here in New Egypt. She was an accomplished equestrian and owned and showed world champion palomino quarter horses. Linda enjoyed antiquing and going to flea markets and had a love for all animals especially her dogs. She enjoyed camping and boating and spending time at the shore. She loved her life and those in it, especially her husband, extended family, friends and co-workers. Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Linda is predeceased by her mother and step-father Josephine (nee Lopez) and Stephen Perez and by her sister Dolores. She leaves behind her husband of 25 years, Robert Hutchinson of New Egypt; along with several other family members and dear friends. Relatives and friends are invited to gather for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 12PM to 5PM at the New Egypt Elks Lodge # 2457, located at 105 Lakewood Rd., New Egypt NJ 08533. A funeral service will begin at 12:30PM. All arrangements are under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home, New Egypt NJ.
