Obituary of Elizabeth Opdyke Elizabeth M. Opdyke, age 85, of Hamilton entered into God’s loving care on Friday, March 23, 2018 at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton surrounded by her loving family, She was employed by Trent Diner in Lawrenceville, NJ as a Waitress for over 30 years until her retirement. Elizabeth enjoyed word search puzzles and jigsaw puzzles. Her kindness and compassion for animals was a vast part of her life. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her loving and caring family. Predeceased by her parents, Edwin and Helen (Duffy) LeQuear, her daughter Debra Opdyke, and her loving husband of 53 years, Floyd Opdyke, she is survived by three children, Doris Commiso and husband Daniel, Thomas Opdyke and wife Rosemarie and Robert Opdyke and Lori Ann; nine grandchildren, Michael and wife Diana, Jason and fiancée Nicole, Eric and fiancée, Dana, Ann Marie, Elizabeth, Sara, Heather, Anthony and wife Nicole, Stacy and husband Angel; six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 12 pm Thursday March 29 at D’Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619. Clergy from the area will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton. Calling hours will be held Thursday March 29 from 10 am to 12 pm at the funeral home. .
