Obituary for Angelina Giambro (Galati ) Angelina Giambro, age 95, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Born and raised in Sicily, Angelina immigrated to the United States in 1937 where she resided in Brooklyn until her retirement when she moved to Point Pleasant Beach. Angelina’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Paul in 1990, her daughter Renee Puleo and her husband Pete Puleo, her brothers Salvatore and Frank Galati and her son in law Joseph DiMatteo. Surviving are her loving daughters, Paula DiMatteo and Donna Passalacqua and her husband Salvatore; her brother Vincenzo Galati; her sister Giovanna Puleo; her 10 grandchildren, Laureen,Joseph, Dana, Paul, Salvatore, Paul, Anthony, Deanna, Peter and Jaime; her 6 great-grandchildren, Joseph, Santino, Paul, Giovanni, Gianna and Vito. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick. A Funeral Mass will be held in Wednesday, May 9th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Dominic’s RC Church, Brick followed by the interment at St. Catharine’s Cemetery, Sea Girt.
