Obituary for Alice I. Quinn (Zaner) Alice I. Quinn, nee Zaner, 97, of Piscataway, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2018 at AristaCare at Cedar Oaks in South Plainfield. Born and raised in Elizabeth to the late Gustov and Dorothy Zaner (nee Bergstrom), she was a former resident of Clark and Toms River, before settling in Piscataway 35 years ago. Alice was the matriarch of her family, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and recently a great-great grandmother; she enjoyed the quality time spent with her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Vincent Quinn in 1975. Surviving are her loving children, Dorothy Taylor, Kathleen Daly and husband Walter, Patrick Quinn and wife Deborah, Vincent Quinn, Jr. and wife Carol, James Quinn and wife Nanette, her fifteen cherished grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. Family and friends are welcome to gather for visitation on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Middle Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middle. Funeral services will begin with a prayer at 10:00am on Friday, May 11, 2018 at the funeral home. Family and friends are welcome to gather begging at 9:00AM at the funeral home.
