Rita Louise Malo 2018

Rita Louise (Roddy) MALO 85 Rita Louise Malo passed away peacefully on April 24, 2018 at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital in New Hampshire. Born in Dracut, MA, she was the daughter of Arthur and Mary (Cashman) Roddy. She was a long time resident of Lynn MA before retiring to Cape Coral Florida with her husband of 63 years. For many years she was employed at the Towne Lynne House in Lynnfield MA. Rita loved playing cribbage and dominoes, sewing, making crafts, cooking, and volunteering. She and her husband Roger were active in their church and community and longtime scout leaders. Rita is survived by her children Stephen Malo of Cape Coral FL, Roger Malo Jr. of Epping NH, Linda Swift of Orrington ME, Cynthia Malette of Epping NH, and Brenda Malo of Cape Coral FL., one sister Helene Delisle of Dracut MA, 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Rita was preceded in death by Roger, her loving husband of 63 years, her son Kenneth Malo, brothers Brendan Roddy of Billerica MA, Arthur and John Roddy of Lowell MA, Richard of CA, and her sister Marion DiNoto of Methuen MA. Calling hours from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and a Funeral Mass from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 will be held on Friday May 18, 2018 at St. Joseph Church, 200 Pleasant St., in Epping NH, with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery on Route 27 in Epping NH.
