Donna Kay Harmon May 11 2018

Donna Kay Harmon, 74, passed away on Feb. 10, 2018, at College Station Medical Center, College Station, TX. She was born on Nov. 11, 1943, in Stella, to William Matthew and Pearl Elizabeth Harmon. Donna married Donald Vanwinkle in 1961 and to this union her daughter, Kimberly Ann Martin was born. The couple later divorced. Donna worked for several years at the Richardson County Treasurers Office before relocating to West Texas where she started her banking career. She moved back to Nebraska in 1981 and worked in the banking business until she retired and moved back to Texas in 2015. Donna was an active member of the DOES Drove #56 in Falls City. Donna loved spending time at the beach and was most happy when she was talking and telling stories with her family and friends. She enjoyed going to concerts and listening to music. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Martin; granddaughter, Kayla Martin, both of Floresville, TX; grandson, Kyle Martin, Grand Island, NE; sister, Peggy Harmon, College Station, TX; brothers, Larry (Judy) Harmon, Kenneth (Donna) Harmon, both of Dawson; and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters. Memorials may be sent to family’s choice. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Father Cole Kennett officiating.
